Why should I choose Lone Star Health & Fitness?

Not all trainers are created equal. While we are certified personal fitness trainers, we’ve spent not just hours, but years studying exercise science and have earned advanced degrees in exercise physiology and kinesiology.  These weren’t just certification earned in a two-day online course. We’ve literally put our blood, sweat and tears into our training and education.

And we believe that not all fitness plans should be created equal.  Your health and fitness needs are not the same as the next.  Everyone has different fitness levels, as well as, accessibility to equipment and gyms.  This is why our exercise programs are customized to every individual’s unique needs, goals and where they plan to work out (in-home, in-gym, while traveling, etc).  That is why we call them exercise prescription.

When and how do I get billed?

You will get billed through our electronic billing platform unless you choose to pay with cash or check. You can choose to pay month to month or pay for a long-term plan.  Payments will recur on your start date. You may cancel at anytime with a written request. Long-term plans may be subject to proration.

How long does it take to get my customized exercise prescription?

After we receive your Medical History Profile and review your consultation form, we will contact you to further discuss your fitness levels, access to equipment, and goals.  We can chat through our app messenger, email or even phone. Once we have all the information we will formulate a prescription to get you started in less than three days.

WHAT IF I NEED HELP?

With Lone Star Health & Fitness, you are never alone. We encourage you to ask questions, whether health or fitness related. Our staff and trainers are here to answer your questions, give you guidance, and provide you with the motivation you need.  We are available via email, phone, through our social media groups, and private messages in our app.

Do I need a Gym Membership or equipment for my Custom Exercise Prescription?

Absolutely not! That is the great thing about our workout plans.  After our initial consultation with you, we can create custom workouts based on what you prefer and have access to. Whether it is a gym membership, walking path near your home, hotel gym, backyard swimming pool, or the comfort of your own living room, we can create your workouts to be one or combination of all of these options.  That can be said with equipment as well. Your exercise prescription will be designed around the equipment you have, such as dumbbells, mountain bike, physioballs, therabands, or just good ol’ fashioned body weight exercises.
